Principal's Message
Tomorrow we embark on our THIRD FIRST DAY of school! We are committed to ensuring a safe, welcoming and healthy return for staff and students. Our teachers will be taking the time once again to introduce routines and structures of individual classrooms and the changes all around our building. We are so excited to welcome our Cohort A students for the first time! Bienvenidos a todos!
Barbieri received the results of our first round of student pool testing on Friday and all pools were NEGATIVE!!! This is fantastic news as we continue to welcome more students into the building! We must continue to:
- sanitize our hands when hand washing is not possible
- wash our hands
- maintain a distance of 6 feet or more
- WEAR OUR MASKS!
Below you will find our return to school plan. Please review the plan so you are aware of the changes in the building and are able to discuss them at home with your children. I can't thank you all enough for your support!!!
Con mucho aprecio,
Maria
MESSAGE FROM DR. DOBLES
Dear Barbieri Families,
I am writing to inform you that I have been selected as a finalist for the position of Principal at Whittemore Elementary School in Waltham. The decision to apply for a position outside of Barbieri did not come easily or without a great deal of thought and consideration. It has been, and continues to be, a great privilege to work with such dedicated, hardworking, and passionate colleagues in the service of a community we all love. At this time, however, my personal and professional journey compels me to seek out the opportunity and challenge of serving as a school principal. I will certainly keep you informed as the process moves forward.
Best Regards,
Ricardo
Vice Principal
Grades 1 and 5
