Message from the Principal
Dear Knight Families,
Random acts of kindness week ends with a trendy free dress day and spring pictures. Students were extra happy and kind on this Friday and we loved it. I swear the 90's fashion is back and I think our kids might be wearing it better. Ha! Flannels, big jeans and Chuck Taylors. Deja vu! It's been a great week at ACP. We know academics are rigorous and expectations continue to be high but our students are rising to the challenge while still having fun. Thank you for choosing ACP Middle School!
New Name... Sort of
I learned this week that our school will be called Arizona College Prep Middle School when we move to the new location on Alma School and Erie. We've already started using the name on announcements.
Representing at HISEF
We completed 48 submissions to the HISEF component of the Chandler Innovation fair this year. Even though it will be virtual, our representation will be real. I am proud of everyone who worked so hard on science fair this year. The hard part is done, now we sit back and celebrate our accomplishment. Thank you teachers, parents, and students! Go Knights!
New Principal
This is still my school until June but CUSD is currently working on interviewing candidates for the next principal of ACP Middle School. I hope to introduce the next principal to everyone by the start of 4th quarter, if not earlier. I know there are amazing people out there ready to pick up where we leave off this year. Stay tuned!
Please scroll for more information on next week's happenings! Have a great weekend!
Go Knights!

POWER HOUR REGISTRATION THE WEEK OF 02/23 thru 02/25
Power Hour is an academic support we provide at ACPO on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays throughout the school year. It is a time where students can go to study and work on any of their academic classes. If needed, there is a classroom teacher available to answer questions. Space is limited to 20 students and pre-registration is required. All students must have a reserved a spot prior to attending a session. Power Hour runs from 2:50 pm to 3:50 pm Tuesday-Thursday's. Room locations are listed in the Upcoming Events section above.
Students must be picked up promptly at 3:50 pm at parent pick-up. As a reminder, ACPO does not have afterschool care. Students continually picked up late may lose the privilege of participating in Power Hour.
Notes:
- These are not instructor led sessions and parents must provide student transportation.
- In order to attend, all students must signup weekly through signup genius to ensure sufficient space is available.
- Under current Executive Order, facial coverings are mandated.
To ensure that all students have the opportunity to attend Power Hour as needed, students may only be signed-up for 1 week at a time.

TIME TO ORDER IS TICKING AWAY! YEARBOOK SALES BY PRE-ORDER ONLY ENDING SOON!
LAST CHANCE! Don't forget to order a yearbook for your student(s). ACP does not buy extra yearbooks to sell at the end of the school year. Be sure to pre-order yours now before prices increase, and before presales end. Not the right time financially? Families may reserve a yearbook by making a partial deposit and periodic payments through Josten's online system. We don't want any students to miss out!
