Drive Carefully Around the School
We have a lot of kiddos going in and out every morning and afternoon. Please be careful and drive slowly and carefully around the school.
Read a Thon Event
Thank you to our PTO for organizing our annual Read a Thon and for every family member, community member and student who helped read and raise money for this event. We will announce the winners on Friday.
We collected 732 POUNDS of food for the Idaho Foodbank. Go, Bobcats! Thank you to every person who participated.
Quarter of Kindness
At Monroe, being KIND is part of what makes a ROAR. This quarter, we will have different events and activities that help us focus on being kind to ourselves, our families, our school, community and world. Please help us in any way you can during this quarter.

Happy Birthday to All of Us
We celebrate many birthdays throughout the year, and we enjoy every one of them. We would like to remind everybody of a few things when it comes to celebrating your student's birthday. Please check with the teacher ahead of time and see if there are any allergies in the classroom and let them know when you are planning on bringing treats. Sometimes there are multiple birthdays in a class in a week and the teacher may want to spread them out. Secondly, EVERYBODY loves a balloon (or stuffed animal or flowers). If you send these to your student for their birthday, they will be kept in the office until the end of the day. Please note, the end of the day is always very busy and we do our best to get all items to their rightful owners, but there is always the chance we won't connect with them at the end of the day. Lastly, we know not everybody can be invited to birthday parties, so please deliver invitations during non-school hours.
Thank you and a very Happy Birthday to all!
