Suwanee Express
Week of October 28th
It was awesome to have our halls filled with families for Early Release. I hope you all had a wonderful conference. Big shout of thanks to PTA and parents for sending in snacks and drinks to give our teachers personalized bags with their favorite treats. It was so very appreciated!
Have a wonderful week!

Lock Down Drill - Friday, November 1st
Each year we have a variety of safety drills that we practice as part of our safety plan, and one of these is a hard lock down. We will practice this drill on Friday morning. Officer Brown and several other GCPS School Resource Officers will be here to conduct the drill with us. The front doors will remain locked throughout the drill and no one will be allowed inside the building until the drill is complete. We cannot conduct checkouts or check ins during this time on Friday. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. I expect the drill to be completed around 10:45. It is my hope that we never experience a real lock down situation, but it is extremely important for everyone to be prepared. Our teachers do a wonderful job explaining and preparing students for this drill in an age appropriate manner. There will be several police cars parked in our bus lanes Thursday morning during the drill. I did not want anyone to be alarmed. The drill will take place this Friday approximately from 10:15-10:45. Thanks for your support.
Our Suwanee PTA and Parents ROCK! Thank you for taking such good care of our teachers and staff for Early Release!
Our PTA Hospitality Coordinator, Ms. Randi Grose! Thank you!
