What to do with your costume AFTER Halloween?

Renfroe GS Troop #13565 is collecting costumes to donate to the S.T.A.R. After School Program for Halloween 2020. THANK YOU to everyone who donated last year, we were able to collect over 80 costumes! We delivered them this month to S.T.A.R. and the looks on the children’s faces were priceless! So we are doing it again this year. Don’t waste valuable closet space holding on to those “too small” costumes for another year. Bring them to the collection box by the Talley Street Elementary front office.

  • The collection box will be available November 4th through 8th
  • We are in need of all sizes as we have a wide range of ages to fit
  • Accessories like hats, wigs, gloves, etc. are also helpful so the children can make up their own costume

Peace & Pie Potluck Dinner on Tuesday, November 19

Remember how we used to get to know each other before Facebook and Instagram? With potlucks, and dinners, and stories. Well, the PTO Diversity & Inclusion Committee invites you to give it a try on Tuesday, November 19. This is a night for us to share delicious food and meaningful, candid conversations about the life experiences that have shaped who we are.

Bring your favorite sweet or savory pie to share. At best, you'll make new friends, and build some community, maybe hear a fresh jazz tune. And, at worst, you can steal a good pie recipe for the holidays.

Did we mention free childcare? Please register so we can get a headcount.
