CNP Employee Spotlight: Mrs. Sherry Freeman at Mt. Gap Elem.

Ms. Sherry Freeman works at Mt. Gap Elementary and Middle School and has been with Huntsville City Schools for 24 years. She is originally from Morgan County, AL which is where she currently lives. She has been married for 34 years and has 3 sons and 2 grandsons. Her son's names are Eric, Matthew, and Quinton. Her grandson's names are Wyatt and Easton. Her favorite part about working for Huntsville City Schools is working with the students, how sweet her students are, and the benefits.

Outside of work, Ms. Freeman likes to pitch horseshoes with her horseshoe team and watch Alabama football. Her favorite type of music is soft rock.

Words that she lives by are to treat people the way you want to be treated. If she was not working in CNP she would be helping her husband with his business. She enjoys hanging out with her friends and socializing in her free time. If she could be any fictional character it would be Minnie Mouse.

Her favorite sport is football and she says the chore she absolutely hates doing is laundry. If she could meet anyone, living or dead, it would be Jesus. She says three traits that define her are honest, loyal, and kind. In 5 years she plans to be staying at home and being Nana to her grandkids. Ms. Freeman defines success as being happy and doing what you want to do.
