Orientation Night for Incoming 7th Graders CANCELLED

Orientation Night next week has been cancelled.

West will be updating their website with several video and informational links. The address is:

West Counselors hope to have an Open House in the evening in the spring so that students and families can come to West to tour the building and meet with them.

Kindergarten Registration is Coming Soon!

Kindergarten Registration is March 3rd from 3:30-5:30pm. If you or anyone you know has an incoming Kindergartener, prior to Registration, we are asking parents to register online so we have all of your information in the system. Please use our online registration system to register online.

**Note - The Boise School District is offering free all-day Kindergarten at all elementary schools for the 2022-2023 school year. There will no longer be half-day classes.

Boys Basketball Starts Soon!

Boys Basketball signups will begin next week. For all 5/6th grade boys interested in playing basketball, there will be a signup sheet in the gym with Mrs. Pom-Arleau. We will have a mandatory meeting on January 31 after school for just the players. At that meeting, they will receive important information regarding the season, participation forms, etc that will need to be signed and turned in before they can practice. If they cannot be at the meeting after school, they can get the information from Coach Pom-Arleau during PE class.

Practices begin on February 15th from 3:30-4:45

Valentines

Students will be allowed to pass out Valentine Cards this year if they would like. Please remember no homemade treats are allowed. Please contact your teacher to see if they are allowing store bought treats.

Jump Rope For Heart!

February is Jump Rope for Heart month. All students will be receiving packets detailing our fundraiser for the American Heart Association and all proceeds go directly to our local Boise AHA. We will be starting our fundraiser on February 1 and will run through February with all packets and money due February 28th.
