May Twitter Challenge
You are invited to participate in the District 64 Twitter Challenge throughout the month of May! This voluntary opportunity is intended to promote sharing and increase awareness of the power of a positive digital footprint.
I'd be more than happy to walk you through the process of creating an account and go over the basics of tweeting. You can also watch a tutorial video HERE.
Remember to include the "official" District hashtag #engageD64 in all of your school-related tweets, and follow me @RachelLabuz! :)
Seesaw
Here are a few of my favorites:
- Screen-capture Raz-Kids reports and set goals, then share with parents
- Read aloud a story and narrate a new ending
- Reflect during genius hour projects
- Share writer’s workshop stories with voice recordings
- Capture photos of physical creations & “take them home”
- Share a class with pen pals. Write, share pictures, and ask questions.
Interactivity Survey
As a District, we're earnestly trying to meet the needs of our teachers and staff for interactive boards, as many new technologies have been developed and changed our ecosystem. We are asking that you fill out this brief survey to indicate how you're using your interactive whiteboard, SMART Notebook, and other interactivity tools.
In order to shape decisions and have further conversations with you to tailor the interactive technology to your needs, this survey is not anonymous. Thanks in advance for your feedback!
Drive Organization Tip
Back Up Your Computer!
We ask that you please complete the backup by May 19!
Files and folders that exist on your desktop computer and MacBook (Desktop, Downloads, Documents, Music, etc.) must be backed up before handing in your old devices.
If you have any questions, please contact Pat or me.
Once you have completed your back-up, please add your name to this spreadsheet.
