SAT/ACT Test Policy for College Admissions Fall 2023
UC will not consider SAT or ACT test scores when making admissions decisions or awarding scholarships. If you choose to submit test scores as part of your application, they may be used as an alternative method of fulfilling minimum requirements for eligibility or for course placement after you enroll. UC Exam requirement
CSU no longer uses ACT or SAT examinations in determining admission eligibility for all CSU campuses. If accepted to a CSU campus, ACT or SAT test scores can be used as one of the measures to place students in the proper mathematics and written communication courses. Freshman: Testing Requirements
See if your college requires an SAT or ACT test, click here. If you do not see your college of interest, be sure to check directly on the freshman admissions webpage. Note that some private and/or out-of-state universities do not require the SAT or ACT for admissions, but might use a score for placement purposes or scholarships.
FairTest.org provides an updated list of 1,800+ four year colleges not requiring SAT and ACT test.
SAT/ACT Testing Dates 2022-23
Juniors! If you plan to take the ACT or SAT this school year, please pay close attention to the dates to avoid late fees or missing the test entirely. You can register for the SAT at the College Board website here. You can register for the ACT at the ACT website here

The teen and young adult years are confusing, complicated and formative. Understanding what's happening socially and developmentally — and how it can intersect with substance use — is fundamental to setting the stage for healthier outcomes.
National Suicide Prevention Resource

People in crisis and those trying to help them have a new three-digit phone number, 988, to reach the national suicide prevention network. Mental health experts are hoping that the three-digit number will deliver a breakthrough in assisting people in crisis who may otherwise try to harm themselves.
People who call, text, or chat 988 will be able to reach trained counselors who belong to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline network.
For non-urgent matters on campus, Mrs. Struck, our Student Services Specialist, is in K25 to listen and answer questions in a safe atmosphere of acceptance, non-judgment, and confidentiality concerning a variety of life’s challenges. K25 is in the Counseling Building.
