Retailing on the internet
Matt Swanson - P.4
Crocs - speciality shoe store
High prices to convince the customer that they are paying for a high quality product. Very specialized towards sandals/shoes.
Crocs cannot cross sell because they only sell one product, they could up sell, though they don't have many other products to suggest.
Journeys - Speciality clothing store
Fair prices in order to sell to anyone who likes their clothes. Wide variety of clothing types for all ages.
Journeys can easily cross sell because they have a variety of products which they could convince the customer to buy in order to complete their outfit. They might be able to up sell some items though their market is very much based on style.
Master Cuts - Services retailer for beauty
High prices for high quality service and products. Specializes in beauty and cosmetic services and products.
Master Cuts could very easily cross sell because their market requires customers to continue the service unto themselves. They could also up sell in order to sell a even higher quality product.
Vans - Specialized clothing store
Fair prices to sell to the younger crowd. Edgy store and clothing to cater to that community.
Vans couldn't cross sell very easily because, like journeys, their products are based on style as opposed to higher quality clothing. They also could not up sell because their products are all around the same price.
Kay - Specialized quality jewelry
Very expensive jewelry to cater to those wanting to spend a lot on their loved ones. Flashy displays and fancy sounding jewels.
They could very easily cross sell and up sale because their customers are already spending a lot of money on their product. It would be easy to convince the consumer that it would make their significant other more happy if they bought this more expensive product.
