Dr. Seuss' Birthday Week!

March 1 - March 5, 2021

Look for communication from TCES teachers inviting family members to join classes virtually through Google Meet to share a read-aloud!

Read alouds will be scheduled for Wed, Mar 3 and Thurs, Mar 4.

Spirit Days:

Student Arrival & Dismissal Reminders


Adults remain in vehicles and arrive on time (space is limited).

AM Arrival - staff members direct students from their vehicles beginning at 8:45am.

PM Dismissal - drivers enter the vehicle lot, turn left, and drive to the stop sign in a single-file line

  • 3:30pm - K,1,2 (and their intermediate siblings) Every Day Car Rider Pick-up
  • ~3:45pm - Buses Depart (after all primary students are safely in vehicles)
  • 3:50pm - 3-5 Every Day Car Rider Pick-up

  • Drivers show photo ID to staff members
  • Students are escorted to vehicles


  • Masks are required.

  • Bus routes and times - SMCPS Elocator

  • There will be no bus passes provided this year for students. Students must ride their assigned bus home.

We highly recommend tracking your student's bus through herecomesthebus.com (school code 86563) and/or the "Here Comes the Bus" app on your phone.

Families of our Grades 2-5 Students: If you haven't yet completed the transportation form in preparation for your child's return next Monday or Tuesday, please complete it today!

SMCPS Food & Nutrition Services

Meal distribution for all students will continue at all sites on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

SELECT THIS LINK to sign up to have your student who is attending school in-person receive take-home meal bags at the end of the school day for the following day's hybrid schedule.

SMCHD Youth Mental Health & Wellness Webinar
