Virtual Continuous Learning Plan
Please click on the Selkirk Wolf above to watch Mr. Larsen's video message.
- Beginning April 20th, our instruction has shifted to a virtual Continuous Learning Plan.
- The learning opportunities we had earlier in March are moving to a higher level of encouragement for students to engage.
- There are twice-a-week instructional meetings with teachers, a schedule to help students organize their time, and graded assignments.
- Parents- please check in with your students and encourage them to engage!
Having trouble figuring out how to get started with the virtual continuous learning plan?
In addition to your student's amazing teachers, Ty Larsen (tlarsen@cvsd.org), Alison Walton (awalton@cvsd.org) and Connie Mott (cmott@cvsd.org) are here to support both parents and students with this transition (tech, scheduling, academics,, etc). Please do not hesitate to email us. We are here for you!
For a tutorial on getting started, please click on the link below "Getting Started with Google Meets."
***NEW***CVSD Middle School Virtual Library and Book Clubs
The Book Club is called, "Keep Calm and Read On." Our goal is to provide a place where kids can share the books they are reading with peers and get book recommendations from each other as well as from the middle school librarians around our district.

Last Week's Yearbook Photo Challenge Winner: Tanner Smith
This week’s challenge was taking a photo from a “varying angle” which trying something besides just stand and shoot. Find a low or high angle to isolate your center of interest or a different perspective. Generally, straight-on pictures are less pleasing than higher and lower views. They contain fewer diagonal lines to make pictures more dynamic. Shooting from below makes subjects appear larger in the foreground. Shooting from above makes subjects seem smaller. This week’s winner was Tanner Smith Contact Mrs. Holm for more information: cholm@cvsd.org
