Quoi de neuf à ÉPK?
Semaine du 23 au 27 septembre, 2019
Prayer of the week
He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:10–12, NIV
Lord our God, we lift our hearts to you, for you have given great promises to those who fear you. Let your Word strengthen us in faith, patience, and hope. Be with all those who call upon you, pleading for help in our time. For these times must work for our good, and in spite of sin, death, and all evil we can find joy in what you are doing. We call to you, O Lord our God. Let your hand be revealed, that something may be seen besides human striving and the efforts of human hands. Let the work of your hand be visible to many, to all peoples on this earth. May your name be honored, O Lord our God, your kingdom come, and your will be done on earth as in heaven. Amen.
WELCOME BACK EVENING CARNIVAL
A WORD FROM THE PRINCIPAL
It's hard to believe that this is almost the end of September already! We are praying that the weather holds so that our new parking lot can finally get finished and that our drop-off and pick-up situations are improved. We have now been informed by Jen-Col that it should be finished by October 5 as long as the weather cooperates. We need your prayers!
Our students have been patiently waiting for our new park to open. This Tuesday, every class will be able to enjoy time in the new park to discover all its new elements. It should be a really fun time!
You will find below an update letter from the contractor regarding the progress of the work that has been going on lately.
Our Loose Parts Play launch is tomorrow and we are so excited! We are asking that you please send loose parts you might have at home that are not needed to help us stock up on new playing items. Please refer to the letter attached below.
As the days will get colder and colder, please remember to ensure that your children are wearing warm clothes. Fall is here now!
Here are a few things to expect this week:
Monday: Loose Parts Play launch
Tuesday: Opening of our new park at lunchtime -- First School Council Meeting @ 7 PM at OLPH School
