The solar system's biggest planet
By: Emmett Brown
Jupiter is the biggest planet and fifth planet in the solar system. It has 67 known moons but it may have more that scientists don't know about. It's an orange and brown color. It is as big as 318 earths. The atmosphere is 71% hydrogen, 24% helium and 5% other elements. The core islayer of liquid metallic hydrogen with some helium, and an outer layer made of molecular hydrogen. The atmosphere also contains trace amounts of methane, water vapor, ammonia, and silicon-based compounds as well as trace amounts of benzene and other hydrocarbons. There are storms on Jupiter just like on earth. These storms are much more intense on Jupiter than on earth. One storm, The Great Red Spot, has been raging for almost 400 years, in 1600.
