Principal's Bulletin
Week 12: November 8-12 2021
A Message from Mrs. Zagala
Thank you all for another amazing week of learning! This Friday we had the opportunity to celebrate the Pillar of Trustworthiness recipients with a special breakfast. Congratulations to all the recipients! Next month we will recognize the Pillars of Fairness.
This week I was also able to begin my November Principal Read Aloud with the book "Last Stop On Market Street" written by Matt De La Pena. The students reflected on the beauty around them and on all they have to be grateful for. I encourage you to ask your child about the book.
Our 1st graders and their families also celebrated El Día de los Muertos by creating altars to remember their loved ones that have passed away. We loved seeing the beautiful tributes.
Have a great weekend!

BIKE RODEO: November 10th
Please see this important message from Coach Perez:
Our school Bike Rodeo will be Wednesday, November 10th. If your child would like to participate in the Bike Rodeo, please bring their bike to the school gym before school starts. I will be in the gym as early as 7:00 AM (the side gate to the gym will be open). The bike Rodeo will start around 8:30 AM tentatively. NOTE: Please mark your child’s bike with their name & grade level. The order in which your child will ride their bike depends on the number of bikes brought in that day. Your child will ride sometime in the morning. When school ends the students can retrieve their bike from the gym. The side gate next to the play ground will be open for DROP OFF and PICK-UP. One last note: No tricycles allowed.
Thank You for your support.
