Amendment 1
Freedom of Speech
Freedom of Religion, Speech, Press, and Assembly
The First Amendment states that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise the of; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assembble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." The tittle of Amendment 1 is Freedom of Religion, Speech, Press, and Assembly.
The first words in the tittle are Freedom of Religion, this means that you have the right to practice any religion that you choose, without being judge differenlty or punished because you are doing something that normally people don't do.
Next is Speech, which means that you have the freedom to say whats on your mind. Next is the Freedom of the Press, which is very similar to the Freedom of Speech. This allows comuntion media's to report and publish non fictional stories.
Finally is Assembly which allows any group of people to gathered peacefully together in one place for a common purpose. This gives them, as a group, an opportunity to explain what they stand for.
To me this amendment means that everybody should have rights to freedom and to express yourself in anyway. They added this to the Constituition becasue everybody has to have freedom, if they never put this in the Constituion then we would still have slaves. An example of Amendment 1 is that at Chirstmas time cities sometimes get into trouble for putting nativity scenes becasue that would be halping the Christian religion and not others. Another one is that some schools have Spring Break or Winter Break rather then Easter Breaks and Christmas Breaks.
My opinion is that it is applied to the way it should be because it would not be fair if olny one religion gets their own Break ,like what I said as an example, and the other ones dont get their own Break. Or if they dont have the rights to speak and, or write what they want to say. I really only believe in this one meaning. If I got the chance to change someting in this amendment I would change that you are not allowed to write what ever you want because if it is about a person and they dont want it to be written then it would be nice not to write it.

In 1789 James Madison wrote the twelve Amendments.

Amendment 4
Give Us Our Privacy!
The 4th Amendmendment states that "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches an seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrents shall issue, but upon probacle cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describling the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
In my words this means that all people have the right to privacy and no one can go through our personal property without permission. . An Example of Amendment 4 being broken, is that in July 14, 1999, A private investigator, took the advice he says was given to him by Assistant U.S. Attorney David Novak. He filed a complaint against two police officers from Richmond and Chesterfield, who entered his home without an invitation or warrant to serve him with a subpoena to testify before a Grand Jury.
I am in favor of this amendment because no person should have the right to come into my life without any permission or warrant just because they think I am doing something wrong.
