Support for Families in Need
The Summit Area YMCA is providing the opportunity for Summit families who receive free or reduced lunch an opportunity to participate in our Thanksgiving food distribution. This is also available for families who may be going through a difficult time this holiday season.
Any family who would like to participate should submit their request using this link. Each family will receive a choice of a free turkey, oven roaster chicken or ham along with a holiday box containing cranberry sauce, corn, green beans, rice, macaroni and cheese, corn bread mix, applesauce, pancake mix and brown gravy mix.
The deadline to submit is Monday, November 13th. The YMCA will do their best to accommodate everyone based on limited number of each item. Choice of product will be on a first come first serve basis. Pick up will be on Friday, November 17th in front of the Summit YMCA. Time to be determined.
Did You Know?
Did you know that you can view your student's check-ins on Genesis? Students scan into the bathrooms, library, help centers, counseling office, and nurse's office when they visit these locations during the school day. You can view these check-ins in Genesis. Log into your Genesis account, and click check-ins on the left side of the screen. Please discuss with your student any excessive time out of class.
You can also view how many times your student did not have their ID badge with them in school. Please help ensure that your student has their ID badge with them each morning.
