Stay on Par with Performance!
6th Annual CPIC Conference
During the transition from CPIC 2012 to CPIC 2013, we will experience an election year, and many changes can happen. An avid golfer can play any open course, but playing various courses on different terrains makes golf challenging – even for the pros. And sometimes golfers are challenged playing the same course even though the rules are the same, because external influences (i.e. weather, equipment, preparation, etc.) can make all the difference in their performance. Capital Planning and Investment Control tenets are no different in this regard.
Performance will be a key theme for CPIC 2013. It is likely we will have an IT Dashboard, given announcements by the most recent Federal Chief Information Officer to continue moving the IT Dashboard forward from the original vision articulated by the Obama Administration. Capital Planning professionals need to plan for the round to make more “eagles” than “bogeys”. During CPIC 2013, you’ll hear about critical, timely topics from interesting speakers so we can all “improve our swing”.
