Health Tip of the Week
Mental Health America features a variety of topics to explore for mental health and wellness. The focus this week is on healthy eating habits and they can help your mental wellness. Among other benefits, good food can:
boost your energy
lower the risk of developing certain diseases
provide fuel to your brain
counteract the impact of stress on your body
affect mood-related body chemicals
In an unhappy twist, good nutrition can help at times of stress, but that's exactly when lots of us tend to eat less well. According to a recent survey nearly half of Americans overeat or eat unhealthy food to cope with stress. In fact, it's not just that we're seeking creamy comfort—our stress hormones actually make us hungrier! Still, if you follow some reasonable guidelines you may be able to reduce your stress and promote your overall health and well-being.

End of Year Chromebook Collection
Seniors can return their Chromebook, charger, and carrying case at any time during the week of May 15th, once they finish their last final exam. They will be turning these directly into the Media Center. All personal stickers should be removed.
9th-11th grade students will return their Chromebook and charger to their 7th period teacher on May 24th once they finish their final exam. They should keep their carrying case over the summer. All personal stickers should be removed, but their name tag should remain so we can renew that Chromebook for them when they return in August.
Any students taking Summer School or Credit Recovery will receive the plan for their renewal in the coming weeks.
