What do you think?
I think MC Escher is more like an artist than a mathematician. To me he is more like an artist because if I first look at his work i would think about art than math. I sometimes can't see the tessellations or the math inside the picture He illustrated books, designed stamps and tapestries, and did murals. I think that is more art. Some of his work probably had something to do with math but he only made 137 tessellation in his lifetime. This is why I think he is more like an artist.
