FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Last week we had a full school assembly to recognize and celebrate three students from each class who exemplified the 3 R's of Ready, Respectful, and Responsible at SWG during the second trimester. Congratulations to students selected for this award. We're so proud of you and of all SWG students for following the 3 R's.
Yours in education,
Bridget Mowbray

OFFICER ELECTIONS
- Officer elections will take place at the May PTA Meeting on Monday, May 8th. Officers have a front-row seat for determining the vision for our work and setting fundraising goals and priorities. They help to coordinate the work that we do and share leadership with our many event chairs and amazing volunteers. Officers typically serve a 2-year term.
- Parents can share interest in an officer position or they may be nominated by someone else. Interest and nominations must be shared by the April PTA meeting (4/17). Interest and nominations can be shared in person at the meeting or via email at swgvolunteers@gmail.com. These will be shared with the school community at the meeting and in the meeting minutes. Elections will be held in May (per our bylaws).
- Open positions include all board roles: President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary. We encourage you to reach out to any current board member for information about their position!
