From Nutrition Services- No Charging Policy
No charging will be allowed starting May 9th. Students must have a positive balance in order to purchase items in the school cafeteria. Any student without a positive balance will receive an alternative meal at lunch. Please visit myschoolbucks.com to monitor account balances and set up low-balance email alerts. From the School Nurse
If your student takes daily medications or has any as needed medication in the clinic, these need to be picked up no later than June 2, 2016 by the end of the day. *
Any medication remaining in the clinic after the 2nd will be disposed of according to GCISD medication destruction guidelines. Medication may not be left in the clinic for use for the following school year. As needed medications will be sent home with students if appropriate beginning Tuesday May 31, 2016.
*Please remember to visit the CES Nurse website. There are many resources available including medical/medication permission forms, summer safety tips, and other ways you can be involved in health services.
*Any summer immunization/exemption form updates should also be brought to school before school starts in the fall. If your student is delinquent in receiving immunizations or exemptions at the start of school next fall, he/she may not be allowed to attend until the required updates have been made.
As always, please contact me with any questions/concerns.
