2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR CALENDAR APPROVED / 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR CALENDAR APPROVAL ON HOLD / SURVEY FORTHCOMING
At the Thursday, February 21 Board Meeting, CR Administration presented the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 draft school year calendars for approval. While the 2019-2020 calendar was APPROVED, it was decided that the 2020-2021 calendar should undergo further review to address a late end-of-school-year trend. The Board also discussed their desire to survey the community to understand opinions relative to a pre-Labor Day start and/or an abbreviated spring break as long-term solutions to the trend. Per this discussion, CR Administration is developing a calendar survey. The survey will be presented and discussed at the upcoming February 28th Academic Standards Meeting.
