Jackson eNews
September 12, 2020
Even though virtual instruction has been in progress since August 12, Wednesday was the first day we were able to welcome back Jackson students who selected Face2Face learning. During the last few days, we have been thrilled to see that our remote learners are continuing to rock the virtual instruction and that our classroom learners are adapting so well to classroom instruction and all the new safety procedures! We want to thank all of our families for their patience as we continue to adjust our learning environments and for ensuring that your student is prepared for learning every day--whether it is remotely or in the classroom. Jackson Jaguars are "pawsitively pawsome!"
As a Title I school, we value community input in the planning and implementation of the parental involvement program and activities at Jackson. Please take a few moments to complete the short Parent Survey in the Title I section below. Your feedback will be greatly appreciated!
Effective September 14, 2020, all Plano ISD Face-to-Face students will receive free breakfast and lunch meals through December 31, 2020, or while USDA funds are available. Plano ISD Face-to-Face students will also have the opportunity to purchase a la carte snacks and drinks during meal service. Please see the section below for meal options for School@Home students and hybrid meal plans.
Please be sure to to update your student's registration forms for the 2020-21 school year through Parent Portal.
Thanks,
Kamili Carthledge, Assistant Principal
