I would like to dedicate this soundtrack project to both my parents and my nana. They have helped me through so much and without them I would be lost. My parents have shaped me into the person I am today and guided me through every step. My nana is basically a third parent to me. I would easily call her my best friend and number one supporter. I would also like to dedicate this to the rest of the people mentioned in this project.
"Butterfly Fly Away" by Miley Cyrus (3:18)
This song goes out to my mom who has always made sure I'm okay before I went to sleep. I wouldn't be who I am if it wasn't for her. We are just alike and I hate to say that but the older I've gotten, the more I've realized.

This song describes me and my best friend, Kennedy. We have been best friends since 5th grade. I don't really consider my friend but more like my family. we are inseparable and always get into trouble.

"It Won't Be Like This for Long" by Darius Rucker (3:37)
I chose this song because me and my dad have always been really close. He always tells me not to grow up too fast. Now that I'm a teenager and about to go off to college, he tells me it breaks his heart that I'm almost an adult and out from under his wing.
Darius Rucker- It won't be like this for long and lyrics
"Time of Our Lives" by Pitbull (4:42)
This song reminds me of how me and my friends are. We will do things we shouldn't even if we know we have responsibilities to do. We're young and dumb. We always get told this is the best years of our lives so we're trying to live it.
Pitbull, Ne-Yo - Time Of Our Lives

I love this song because every step I've been through in life, I've made some really good memories with the exception of a few bad ones. The memories make us who we are today. Everyday you should try to live it to the fullest, I've made that my new years resolution and so far I've held to it.

I just absolutely love this song. Every time I hear it makes my day better. I have to get up and dance when I hear it.

"Cowgirls Don't Cry" by Brooks & Dunn (3:47)
My brother would always tell me this is his song for me. Me and my brother used to be inseparable. He was the one who toughened me up, "showed me how it's done" and just helped me with his advice as a big brother. He would literally pay me money if he hurt me on accident to not tell mom.
Brooks & Dunn - Cowgirls Don't Cry
"Say" by John Mayer (3:44)
I haven't always been outspoken but after I finally decided to stand up for myself, I haven't been shy ever since. I'm not scared to stand up and speak my opinion anymore. I'm still finding out who I am in this crazy life.
John Mayer - Say
"American Honey" by Lady Antebellum (3:43)
This is another song I love about growing up. It's starting to stick in my mind. I was raised in a good home where I was taken to church. I'm ready to start my journey but I don't know if I'm ready to leave.
Lady Antebellum - American Honey

I have loved this song ever since it came out. Whoever I'm with and this song comes on, we scream it to the top of our lungs.

"Lose Yourself" by Eminem (5:26)
I hate Eminem's songs except for this one. I don't know why but this song just speaks to me. I always tell myself if there's any opportunity for myself don't let others ruin it for me.
