Details of Breast Cancer
The DNA in the cells become damaged, leading to uncontrolled cell division. Over time the cells create a lump, known as a tumor. This type of cancer develops in the breast tissue.

Causes of Breast Cancer
The presice cause of the cancer is unknown, but advancing age, and a family history of breast cancer puts you at a higher risk to develop it.
Prevention
- Limit alcohol intake
- Don't smoke
- Control your weight
- Be physically active
- Breast-feed
- Limit dose and duration of hormone therapy
- Avoid exposure to radiation and environmental pollution
How Breast Cancer is treated
Treatment depends on the stage of the cancer. Surgerys can be done, including mammaplasty, tissue expansion, lumpectomy, and a few more. You can also undergo radiation therapy, and chemotherapy.
How it is diagnosed
To diagnose Breast cancer, you can undergo a mammogram, which is an x-ray that allows a qualified specialist to examine the breast tissue for any suspicious areas. You may also undergo an MRI, ultrasound, or biopsy.

Women are most seceptible to breast cancer, but men are also capable of getting it. About 1 in every 8 women will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. While a man's lifetime risk for this cancer are about 1 in 1,000.
