From Counselor
The HS-Advancement Counseling Department is working to ensure both students and parents have the opportunity to connect with their assigned counselor!
Many parents have questions regarding academic progress, graduation requirements and college preparation that can easily be answered via email or by scheduling an appointment. While the first line of communication for many of these concerns should be your child’s teacher, counselors are also available to help guide you and your child through high school. Parents can click HERE or scan the QR code to gain access to the Advancement Counseling Department Information Request Form where they can either ask their questions or schedule an appointment with their child’s counselor.
Keep in mind counselors do not accept walk-in appointments but are happy to respond to any inquiries submitted through this form within two (2) business days. We look forward to partnering with you in ensuring your child’s preparation and success during high school and college!
ATTENTION SENIORS & SENIOR PARENTS: Fill out your FAFSA now!
You can visit www.fafsa.gov to begin your application and you will need your tax information to complete the process. If you have questions regarding how to complete the FAFSA, your tax preparer is a good resource to start with.
The Advancement Counseling Department also has handouts with simple instructions on how to begin and submit the FAFSA. We hope you will work with your student to ensure that this step in the college application process is completed - remember, the earlier you submit the FAFSA, the better chance your child has of receiving an adequate amount of aid!
Winter Concert
The concert is open to all and is free!
It is on Wednesday, Dec. 11th at 7:30 in room 401.
Additional Reading & Writing Tutorials
Mr. Young will hold tutorials on Thursdays until 4:00 PM for students who need additional English EOC preparation, general reading and writing help, or whose teachers are not available at that time. The tutorials will be held in room 415.
All grade levels are welcomed.
First Competition FTC
On November 15, we had our very first league meet. In our league, we had a total of eleven teams competing. In our first match, we were up against two of the other Mohawk teams, green and gold. We put up a good fight but lost 47-41. We scored all 41 points, which is a large achievement for this early on in the season. We won all of our remaining four games and finished at a solid third place; behind Mohawk Warriors Gold and Green.

Even a small donation could help Valeria Arauz reach their fundraising goal. And if you can't make a donation, it would be great if you could share the fundraiser to help spread the word.
Mrs. Drysdale's Classroom Project
"Help me give my students LCD writing tablets to help them stay motivated in class! Students usually always work harder when they have fun tools that they can use in the classroom."
