SPLENDID IN 6TH

What's Up in O'Connell's Class this Week ?

Civil War Timeline Project

Students will be introduced to a Civil War Timeline project on Tuesday, This project is done on their i-pads. Last week students were given a Civil War profile. They will use their profile to build an interactive timeline of their character.

A rubric and checklist with steps to successful completion is located in Canvas and was talked through in class on Tuesday.

Please ask your student to show you progress on this project. We will be using all week in class to work on timelines.

Students will be sharing these timelines to a group and I will be grading these with an assessment grade.

I am always willing to discuss progress with you via email if necessary, as I know lines do get long.

NEW PROCEDURE:

In an attempt to alleviate parking and long lines, Pearson is going to try assigned Conference Nights based on last name. If you cannot attend your assigned night, you are welcome to attend either one.

Mrs. Tina O'Connell

I am thrilled to be teaching Social Studies for Trailblazer team this year. In my spare time, I run around to dance class and football or baseball depending on the season. I love teaching and learning from my students.
