CMS 8th Grade Promotion
Let's Celebrate the Promoting Class of 2021
We're excited to celebrate our 2021 promoting 8th graders on June 16, 2021. We are currently organizing the many details to ensure a fun, safe, and exciting promotion ceremony and celebration!
PROMOTION CEREMONY: We're happy to announce that the ceremony will take place on June 16, 2021 at 5:30 pm on Niedermeyer Field. The number of guests will be limited. More information to come.
PROMOTION PARTY: The celebration will take place on the CMS field on June 17th from 9:30 to 11:30 am. The Social Dis "Dance" will include food, music, games, and activities for the entire 8th grade class to enjoy.

Promotion Activities Registration
PROMOTION ACTIVITIES REGISTRATION FORM: At this time, we need you to complete the permission form for the promotion activities and the early release days.
The form includes:
- Confirming student attendance at the ceremony
- Proper spelling of your student's name
- Early release from campus on June 16th and 17th
- A suggested donation of $45:
EARLY RELEASE: The early-release schedule for the last two days of school (June 16 & 17) is ONLY for the 8th grade class.
June 16 early release at 10:30 am
June 17 early release at 11:30 am
What does the $45 go towards?: The committee appreciates the support of all 8th grade families so our students can enjoy the party, a memento/gift, and in tradition, set up funding for the "CHS Class of 2025 ASB fund." This fund is used for activities and community building experiences such as homecoming, spirit events, prom, graduation festivities, and much more. A $45 fee/donation and any additional donations to the CHS Class of 2025 should be processed at our student store, NO LATER THAN MAY 21st.
