An Artisanal Potluck of Sorts

Sunday, May 5th, 2-4pm

40 Westford Road, Concord, MA

What is "An Artisanal Potluck of Sorts", you ask? New England harbors a host of artisanal food producers. From brewers and cheesemakers, to distillers, farmers, and chocolatiers, the region frequently engages in the development of a craft economy, a system of exchanges where passion, integrity, and care are worth more to producers and consumers than saving that extra dollar. This is an opportunity for producers to showcase the fruits of their labors while discussing points of interest with like-minded craftspeople. It's not a trade show or tasting event, just...well...An Artisanal Potluck of Sorts.

We ask that participating producers bring samples of their product - enough for 40-50 heads. Raw products, such as produce and meat, will be cooked/prepared on location by Saltbox Farm chefs and other area culinary talent. Don't be shy. Who knows what collaborations might arise once bread is broken and bottles are popped!

to cure: A Food Anthology

to cure: is a labor of love. It is a food anthology. A place for telling and sharing stories, for preserving knowledge. There are people out there, more each day, hand-crafting the things we eat. Each of these artisans incorporate ingredients and techniques which our conventional food system overlooks: Time, Passion, Integrity. For these craftsmen, these curators of food culture, making is about more than making money. It’s about doing the right thing, in the right way.

This anthology is dedicated to the makers. To the growers, the brewers, and the bakers. To all those out there seeking to cure our ailing food system, one hand-crafted product at a time. Here’s to sharing their stories. To telling their tales.
