Weekly Update from SRTMS

Eagle Pride!

Open House - May 26

Open House is scheduled for Thursday, May 26. The time will be 5-7 PM. It will be a scaled-down affair in the classrooms, with one target subject or a unit of study highlighted. The reason for this is that Open House was not authorized to happen until March, due to the uncertainty brought on by COVID. Teachers have not had all year to prepare.

We plan to have a few food trucks (Kona Ice and one for main entrees), the PTO Used Book Sale, and family bingo. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the ASB dance party due to a lack of parent volunteers. We are asking for parent volunteers for time and activities. Please follow the Sign-Up Genius link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F4CAEAE28AAF5C52-open.

Our main entire food truck will be Shafer's Kitchen. The menu for the night is below. I don't have prices yet.

Parking Lot Reminders

Please remember that the drop-off lane is for that purpose only. If you want to get out of the car, assist your child, and wish them a good day, it is best to park and walk them up to the gate.

Please don't use the first row of parking spots in the lower lot as a drop-off area. Please park if you want to let someone out.

The only official pick-up area is the upper parking lot. Students (especially middle school students) should not be waiting by the bus gate to be picked up in the afternoon.

Give yourself extra time in the parking lot. There is a lot of traffic and only so much space. Please be courteous of all drivers, cars, and pedestrians.
