Title 1 News
Vacation time is here!
Attached to Principal Syre-Hager’s newsletter this month is the Title I news for February. This month highlights math and motivation skills along with providing some Presidents Day activity fun. It’s a great resource for learning about new activities and strategies that support your child and build that strong school to home connection!
A Peek In… Presidents Day is Monday, and included in this newsletter is an interesting piece that provides fun activities for spending time together discovering facts about the U.S. Presidents. Take a virtual tour of George Washington’s home and share the legend of the cherry tree as well as how Lincoln got his nickname, “Honest Abe”. Take time to make a special craft or complete a coloring page of activities together and learn about the presidents. What about taking a moment to have your child write a letter to our president!
Take some time to see all that’s in store for you and your family and enjoy a safe, restful and fun vacation. See you on February 28th!
