Compulsory School Attendance
Andrew Erdman
Why Do I Have to Learn Everything
I believe you have to attend school but only study the subjects you want to. For example if you are a great writer and want to be an author when you're out of school and you don't want to spend your time in math. Basicly you don't have to learn what you don't want to learn.
This should be controlled to a certain degree, because if you only want to learn math and science and never attend a language arts class then you wouldn't even know your abc's. Therefore you should have to attend one year of the primary subjects
There is another side to this as well, not attending school at all. Some kids don't attend school until the final exam. This too i agree with, my reason being, if you learn somewhere else, it doesn't matter, if you don't learn it anywhere and you already know the material, it doesn't matter. The only thing that really matters is if the person passes the final exam. Think about it if you know something, why learn it again, you could do other things than wasting you time re-learning stuff. But if on the other hand if you don't pass the exam, and you didn't have to attend school, you have to learn it.
Interview with Quinn Schwartz
A: Depends on what you want to be because if you want to be a scientist you should only have to study math and science.
