District Visit
Here are a few notes from the district visit today that relate to academics. These are areas we need to work on or grow in.
- Daily Objectives/Learning Goal need to be displayed in classrooms and online every day!
- Your time with students should focus on discussions, small groups, assessing, and support.
- Resources from Wit & Wisdom, Eureka/Zearn, and STEMscopes need to be used consistently.
This district will be visiting monthly. On the next visit they plan to see science and Wit & Wisdom.

Things to remember
- VEO - Teachers where sent invite to create an account for VEO. We will start using this platform in the next few weeks.
- K-5th Collaborative Planning - Team leads were given the Collaborative Planning Notebook. Collaborative plannings will begin next week. Grade levels will meet in the beginning of the week to have discussions based on the notebook and then at the end of the week to discuss their plans.
- Data Binders - Data Binders need to begin as we are diving into content. Remember that our focus this year is the focus skills/standards and setting goals and reflecting on those skills/standards.
- K-5 Team Lesson Plan - We will be moving to a team lesson plan ASAP. You will work with your team to fill out one lesson plan. I will be editing existing lesson plans to create your team one.
