NEWS FROM THE NEST
Newsletter from Audubon Park School K8 2020
Hello APSK8 Family,
Looking forward to the first basketball games and Falcons Around the World this week. I hope you will join us.
The 2020 Cognia accreditation survey is now open and ready for your response! Parents, this is an important survey. It provides feedback to our School Advisory Council. It is a state requirement that we receive a response from a minimum of 20% of our parents. Please help the school become more efficient in every way and take a few minutes to respond to this survey. Your feedback and cooperation is greatly appreciated.

*Reminder: Schools and district offices are closed on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. It's also the 25th anniversary of the designation of this holiday as a day of service.
Way to go, Ben! So proud of this young musician along with Director Bryan Munera. Ben earned a spot in the 2020 State of Florida Middle School band. What a well-deserved honor!
Congratulations to the student athletes who made the APS basketball teams! Come cheer on the Falcons at the upcoming games!
You may share art, music, perform a dance, create a game to play, dress, share recipes and/or provide samples of food or drinks from your culture. Anything you share with students to teach about your country will be wonderful!
We would love to showcase your family photo from travels to different countries. Please upload one photo below to be featured on a slideshow at our PTSA International Night on January 23rd. We hope you'll join us then! (6:30 - 8:30 p.m. - Cafeteria)

What an amazing experience for our students in 6th - 8th grades. We held our first College and Career Fair for students. They toured the tables, met volunteers and learned about college/career paths for their interests. Special thanks to Mrs. Johnson, our Guidance Counselor, for her dedicated work in organizing this event.
