From the Nurse's Office:
Incoming Preschoolers, Kindergarteners, and 6th Graders…
Get Those Immunizations This Summer
If your child is going into preschool, kindergarten, or 6th grade for the 2022-2023 school year, there are required immunizations they may need in order to attend school. Summer is the perfect time to get those. Incoming 6th graders who are 11 years and older will need to show proof they have received both the Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) and the Meningococcal immunizations.
There are several clinics that provide these immunizations at no charge, regardless of insurance status. Please reach out to me at elizabeth.compiseno@gilbertschools.net if you would like these resources or have any questions.
Thank you,
Elizabeth Compiseno, MSN, RN
