Christmas is around the corner!
As the leaves begin to turn into their vibrant colors, and we begin to pack up our summer clothes, we are reminded that winter is quickly approaching. Here at the Salvation Army, we are preparing for our busiest time of year, The Annual Red Kettle Campaign.
Each holiday season, The Salvation Army aims to provide assistance to those who are vulnerable, and in need of a helping hand. We often rely on members of our community to be "the army behind the army". Without you, our commitment to provide quality social services for the entire community is not made possible. Organizations such as yours, help us to change lives, uplift families and support our neighbors in need every day.
There are many opportunities to help support our Christmas Red Kettle Campaign.
One of the most recognized symbols of The Salvation Army is the red kettle, which can be seen standing in front of the various retail stores throughout the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area during the Christmas season.
Opportunities:
Adopt-a-location: Involved in a group?Take over a kettle for a day (10 am-8pm) at your desired location (if available). Shifts can be split into multiple people or individuals. For more information contact Kate Hamilton (kate.hamilton@use.salvationarmy.org).
Sponsorship: Own a business or organization? Sponsor a Kettle at a store. We will put your company's name and logo at your desired store location (if available) for the 2015 Christmas Campaign, as well as the 2016 Christmas in July Campaign.

As part of our graduation requirement, each student needs to have completed 20 hours of community service hours prior to graduating.
It is recommended that students perform 5 hours of community service each school year instead of accumulating the hours within one school year. Deadline for Seniors to submit hours is February 15, 2018. Students are required to fill out a community service hours form and return the completed form to the library media center.
