Yearbook Cover Contest
Scott Eagles! We are excited to announce our annual yearbook cover contest!
The title this year is Letting Our Imaginations Soar…and the inside pages will have a colorful safari animal theme. All students are invited to draw their own ideas: please include the title and the year 2023. Vertical designs are required and the committee will forward the top 20 entries on to the Scott Staff to vote on the front cover design! All designs will be featured in the book.
Designs are due December 19 (the committee will pick up entries from Scott School on Tuesday, December 20) or send a .jpeg image file of the cover design to yearbook@scotthomeandschool.com
Yearbook Picture Request
The yearbook committee has an easy new picture share link! We are collecting pictures from: Meet and Greet, First Day of School, Block Party, Walk to School Day, Fall Festival, Donuts on the Playground, and Family Game Night. https://www.plicbooks.com/go/YNG5YE
If anyone has a video clip from these events (pie in face? Fall festival parade?), we will also be creating a few QR codes to feature in this year’s Letting Our Imaginations Soar! Please email those to yearbook@scotthomeandschool.com
2022-2023 Breakfast Buddies - Sign Up Today!
NEW THIS YEAR! Home & School and SFCP are offering a fun gathering for students with Breakfast Buddies. Each student can choose a special someone (aunt/uncle, mom/dad, grandma/grandpa, etc.) to join them for breakfast before school, where donuts and coffee/juice will be served in the Gymnasium.
SFCP will offer two different dates for the event: December 2, 2022 OR April 12, 2023.
A slideshow will be displayed during breakfast showing pictures of students with their special someone.
Please sign up for the event using this link: Breakfast Buddies Sign-Up (https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090844a9a72fa2fa7-20222023)

Giftmart
This year Scott School will be once again collecting toys for under-resourced families in our school and District 203 through the Giftmart program.
By invitation, parents and/or guardians are invited to the Giftmart Toyshop where they can purchase new toys for $2.00 per toy. 100% of the proceeds made from the sale of each toy will be donated back to our school to support all students.
Please consider donating a new, unwrapped toy valued from $20-$30 that is safe for children ages 6-12. Attached is a list of recommended gifts. There will be a Giftmart Toy Box located at our school from November 14th – November 29th. You can also use the links below to purchase a gift through Target or Amazon that gets delivered directly to the event.

Scott School has hosted the event in the past and was the first school in the district to participate. It’s an absolutely beautiful opportunity for our community.
