Diamond Leadership Program
Events, activities, and fun things about TU Leadership.
First, we want to congratulate the Temple University Football team for an exciting week. Our fellow Owls showed the nation a great example of exceptional leadership, both on and off the field. The team demonstrated the department's foundational principle of positive change in the community. We are excited to continue to support all of our TU student-athletes.
Second, we are entering our final month of events for this semester. We will stop programming prior to the Thanksgiving Break. Events will start again at the beginning of the Spring semester in January.
Last, we are closing registration for the Fall Student Leadership Conference on Wednesday (to ensure an accurate head count for food and giveaways). Leadership Conference keynote speaker Daniel Gallagher's free book will be available to the first 200 students in attendance on Saturday. He will stay after the conference for a book signing with all students in attendance.
This week's newsletter includes online resources for your development, information on upcoming events and on-campus resources, and links to important department sites.
If you have questions or wish to contact us, please send an email to Lead@temple.edu.

Leadership Resource of the Week
Finding the right mentor can be an impossible task, but when you pin point the right person, don’t be afraid to ask! Having a mentor can make all the difference in reinventing the wheel and finding a process that already works.
On the flip side, being a mentor can be just as rewarding. In the article “Randi Zuckerberg On How Mentoring Women Eradicates Barriers And Dramatically Expands Success” by Kathy Caprino the value of being a mentor is explored.
