Ms. Mary's Class
Class 2C at the Elementary School, ASD, Doha.
Week 37: June 4th, 2015
This week we checked out NVS so that students are familiar with it for the Summer Learning Activities (geared to students entering Grade 3). Ask them to show you around it and check out the message from the UE principal below.
Don't forget to check out 15 books for summer reading on June 4, 7, 8 ; see below.
We are on the home stretch this coming week...no more homework, all assessments done, all books returned, library stock take complete, report cards written and checked....
This coming week we will catch up on lessons that need consolidating and skills that need refreshing. We will reflect on our year of learning and we will look forward to what Grade 3 will look like.
Tuesday is a full day, Thursday a half day. Looking forward to a 'cool' last day of Grade 2!
Kind Regards,
Mary Mulqueen

Important Dragon Band Announcement:
If your child uses their Dragon Band to purchase lunch at school it is important to "top up" the band at the vending machine on a regular basis. Campus Card will send reminders to parents once the card dips below 100 QR.
Message from Upper Elementary Principal
In the UE, we host a summer learning program on NVS. It is important that all second graders get a chance to play around on the site before the end of the school year so they can use it during the summer. At the Parent Coffee Morning on Tuesday, June 3rd we shared information about the summer learning program on NVS.
Last Day of School - yippee!
Thank you!
