BHS Lady Tors Volleyball Tryouts
Tryouts for the 2021 Lady Tor volleyball team will be on August 2nd from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. in the BHS upper gym. All potential players MUST:
· Be enrolled at Ball High for the 2021-2022 school year
· Have a current physical on file in the athletic trainers’ office
· Have a parent/guardian create a profile in Rank One to complete necessary paperwork

GISD and Sea Star Base are offering FREE Summer Camp to Galveston students!
Any student ages 10-17 that is interested in attending a week-long (Sunday – Friday) overnight camp should call 409-572-2560 ext. 1010 to get more information and learn how to sign up for one of the FREE scholarships available to Galveston Island students.
There are a limited number of spots available through this special school district grant opportunity…so call now to reserve your spot for one of these remaining weeks:

P-EBT Food Benefits for Families
Apply for for Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) to receive help with food costs for your family. All Galveston ISD students are eligible. Applications open at yourtexasbenefits.com/Learn/PEBT (application link is case-sensitive) on June 2, 2021.
P-EBT provides food benefits to families with enrolled students (up to 21 years of age) who temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price school meals for the 2020–2021 school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. All Galveston ISD students are eligible because GISD is a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) district that offers free meals to all students. The deadline to apply is August 13, 2021
