Cheetah Wrap Up

Thank You Veterans!

Today we started the day by honoring Veterans. Our 5th grade teacher Mrs. Wells put together an assembly in which four former armed service members let us know what branch of the military they were in, why they enlisted, and what benefit they received from serving their country. I was so proud of our students as we said the Pledge of Allegiance and sang the Star Spangled Banner-Thanks to our 5th, 6th, and 7th graders for leading us in this assembly.

We were fortunate to have in person Mr. Shawn Long and Mr. Richard Edwards and via video Mr. Dan Maranda and Mrs. Eaton. They all shared their service stories and even answered a few questions.

Many thanks, to all who have, or are serving our country. Today the mounds of candy we collected for Operation Gratitude was picked up so parents...the temptation is gone!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
