OAESA Hall of Fame School
Dear Crestview Families,
We welcome the fall season with the Scholastic Book Fair which will run all week Oct 2-6, and the Family Event will take place during the PTO Fall Fest on Friday October 6th.
SAFTEY DRILL
On Friday afternoon we conducted our second safety drill of the school year. The students participated in two different drills and scenarios, which included a lockdown, barricade, and evacuation. This was the first time students experienced this type of drill this school year and walked toward the rally points in the event of an evacuation.
Everyone did a great job during the drill. Additionally, the students had a lot of good questions during the debriefing activity with their teacher.
The top ten sellers will get to PIE a staff member in the face on Thursday October 12 . The following winners and lucky staff are:
Payzley DeMoss - McIntosh
Tavian DeMoss - O'Neill
Ananya Deb - Smith
Louis Rivituso - Desh - Scott
Presley Athey - Smith
Mckenna Athey - Haws
Sidney Skubak - Quallich
Sawyer Skubak - Thomason
Bailey Lemmer - Schulke
Skyler Folan - Purser - Smith
STUDENT WATER BOTTLES: Must be WATER
Please make sure your child only puts water in their water bottle. We have had several spills from students that are drinking pop, gatorade, and other colored drinks which has caused some problems.
SCHOOL PICTURES
All students received their school pictures. Re-take day is Oct.24th and the student must return the pictures.
Respectfully,
Mrs. Schulke
Principal

Scholastic Book Fair
Oct 2-6
Book Fair
The Book Fair is coming!! This year our Fall Book Fair will run Monday, October 2 through Friday, October 6, 2023. All Crestview students will have the opportunity to browse the book fair during the school day and create a wish list highlighting some books that are of interest to them to purchase.
All students will be browsing the fair early in the week and will be bringing home a book fair wish list. Please review and if purchasing books, return the form with eWallet information (student name and teacher) to school no later than Friday, October 6, 2023. Once again, the preferred form of payment will be the Scholastic eWallet. NO CASH OR CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
eWallet is Scholastic’s cash-free digital payment option. Learn more on our book fair homepage and get started by creating an account: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/crestviewfall2023
You can also access the eWallet website by scanning the following QR code:
*IMPORTANT: SALES TAX (6.75%) IS REQUIRED TO BE CHARGED ON ALL PURCHASES. When putting money on your child’s eWallet, please allow for tax amounts on all sales to ensure your child can purchase all the items they have permission to buy (subtotal x 1.0675 = total with tax).
Family Night will take place Friday, October 6, 2023 during the Fall Festival (5:00 pm - 7:30 pm). Credit cards WILL be accepted in addition to eWallet at the family event.
If you are interested in volunteering during the book fair, please feel free to sign up via the attached link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0C4FACAB29A4FC1-44341832-fall
