What energy transformation occurs during photosynthesis?

Energy transformations occur when Radiant Energy(energy from the sun) changes to Chemical Energy. Plants use the sunlight(radiant) to make their own food(chemical).Photosynthesis is a chemical reaction because it forms something new, which is glucose(the plants food) and oxygen. These are both products of photosynthesis.

Process of Photosynthesis

Plants use the energy from the sun. When the light touches the plant it turns water and carbon dioxide into glucose which is the food the plants need to survive. This is photosynthesis.

Synthesis=To Make

What items do plants need to undergo photosynthesis (reactants)?

Plants need sunlight(radiant energy), water(H2O), and carbon dioxide(6CO2)

What is produced by photosynthesis (product)?

After the plant gets all the things it needs it produces glucose which is the plants food. It also produces oxygen for us. So its kind of a give and receive thing. We give the plant carbon dioxide and it goes and gives us oxygen back.

Formula for Photosynthesis

The formula for photosynthesis is:

6CO2 +6H2O + LIGHT + C2H12O6 +6O2

Chloroplasts are the organelles of a plant cell WHERE photosynthesis occurs. They capture the energy from sunlight and store it in the storage molecules and freeing oxygen from water they get from the soil or rain.

Plant Energy

Plant Energy comes from The SUN

Why Are Plants Important To Animals

They are extremely important to animals because they give the animal energy.

Where Do You Find Plants On The Food Chain?

You can find plants on the bottom of the food chain

Importance of Photosynthesis

Photosynthesis is highly important to our world. Without photosynthesis there would be no plants. No plants:no animals: no animals:no food for us: no food for us: we all DIE!.

So all in all photosynthesis is a big part of our lives. this should influence you to want to plant more. if you want to breathe and live, I suggest that you....PLANT!PLANT!PLANT!!!!
