Our Promise
Every student in Dallas School District is known by name, strength, and need, and graduates ready for career, college, and community.
A fun story!
He told me about a recent interaction he had with one of our kids. Upon fouling off a ball at practice, the kid cried out "Ouch, I broke my webby!" The coach, who knew a little about Character Strong asked the kid if they were working on it at our school. The student proudly said "yes" and the coach asked what he thought about it. Our student said he really liked that we were trying to learn more about each other and it was nice to focus on kindness which was not always normal with his classmates. The coach grinned at me and said, "that is cool!"
The work that you all are doing is paying off. Even as small an instance as referring to a webby might seem, the kids are connecting what they are working on in Extended Advisory with their world and are appreciating the relationships you all are building with them.
Thank you!
Glad you're here!

Application deadline is October 25, 2019.
New this year, we will be asking for impact statements (and hopefully photos) from those who receive grants. This information is vitally important as we continue to raise funds to support the district.
Please include the above information and the link below as you pass this information on to your staff. I am the contact person for the grants this year, so feel free to have any teacher email me if they have a question or need additional information. Thank you so much for your support and we wish you a wonderful school year!
