Enfield Basketball by Rowan Sherwood and Lindsey Hern
Since we are on the 4th grade girls basketball team we will talk about that! The fourth grade girls team beat the Northeast Elementary school 8-2 on Saturday. The Enfield team was winning from the start. The girls worked together to score points. The girls were very supportive of their teammates. Almost every Saturday there is a game so why don't you come out and cheer for the Enfield Basketball teams!

Platypus By Lindsey Hern
Platypuses are what you call a monotreme.
But, however they are also a marsupial.
An example of a marsupial is a kangaroo.
Habitat
Platypuses live in streams, rivers, and lakes in Australia. These streams are usually pretty muddy. Platypuses make their homes in burrows by the bank, or in the river.
LIFE CYCLE
The female platypus will lay her eggs after mating with a male platypus during mating season. The female will usually lay two, maybe three precious eggs.
Fun facts!
1. Male platypuses have little poisonous spurs on their back legs
2. The burrows have little tunnels that lead to the den of the burrow
3. The platypus is so much fun to research, I can’t even remember all the fun facts I learned! So why don’t you go to Australia and find out more!
