Sacre Coeur

Sacre Coeur

It was designed by the architect Paul Abadie and six other architects helped him complete the structure. Standing high above the city of Butte Montmartre, people refer to this church to a wedding cake because of its domes and decorative detailing. It was built as a vote of confidence in order to cure France's misfortunes after the Franco Prussian War.
