NEWS and NOTES
One more week Cardinals!!! We got this!!!! Thank you for all your hard work over the past quarter. We are showing growth...which is powerful for our students. This week we will have conversations about where our students need to be at the end of the year.
3rd Grade will be taking IREAD 3 this week. Please transition through the building quietly for our students to have an optimal testing environment.
K-2 Team- please bring copies of the TRC Benchmark books that are the EOY goals for your respective grade levels. We will analyze the skills needed for our students to meet these goals and talk about the steps to get there.
3-6 Team- we will be moving our collaborative planning to Friday and meeting in the conference room. We will be talking about our plan to get students to mastery on skills previously taught and get them ready for ISTEP Part II.
Our Pennies for Patients drive has been going great!! I appreciate your leadership in getting our students to see the power of giving for a great cause. I have loved seeing your participation in the activities as well. I cannot wait until I get blasted by water balloons on Friday.
Grades will be due into ESchool by Sunday, March 20th. If you have questions about access into the system or need support, please call 3600.
Last Week to Spring Break...the weather will be getting warmer and students are going to start getting a little more restless and behaviors may increase. Please be proactive in supervising behavior...those students that have difficulty interacting with one another shouldn't be around each other. Think of more interactive and hands-on activities that will support the restlessness in the classroom.
