Georgia PTA Announces Membership Incentives

15 More in 2015 – District 13 already has 4 schools who are eligible!

Every PTA/PTSA that has been chartered for two or more years that attains 15 more members than last year's final total by February 28, 2015 will be entered into a drawing to win $500.00! The first two PTA/PTSA names pulled will be the winners, and their money will be distributed by no later than April 5, 2015. Four more names will then be pulled, and each of these four will also be named as winners of $201.15 each. These winnings will be distributed by no later than April 5, 2015.

Newly chartered PTAs/PTSAs can also qualify to win money. Each of these schools that attains 15 more members by February 28, 2015 over the number of members that they had at the time of their charter meeting will be entered into a drawing to win $201.15 (one winner will be selected). Money will be distributed by no later than April 5, 2015.

RSVP for the D13 Fall Conference!

When you hear "Twitter, Kik, Tumbler, Facebook, Instagram, Snap Chat" do you really understand what your children are doing on social media sites? Are your children protected? Are they being bullied on the internet? How can you keep them safe and their reputations clean and clear in this digital world? Colleges and employers are checking out your children online, are you?

Stop feeling lost about this new technology and join us on October 1, 2014 at Woodstock High School as District 13 PTA presents Katie Greer, renowned social media consultant, as she demystifies social media and gives parents action steps to take to make sure your children are protected.

Registration and brunch at 9am. Presentation begins as 10am. You must RSVP to have a spot. Please RSVP at d13gapta@gmail.com. Admission is $8.00, includes brunch. Send check made out to 13th District of Georgia PTA to Susan Hayes, 1804 Fenton Manor, Cumming, GA 30041.
