Ms. Crisp's Weekly Newsletter
March 7th-11th
What's Happening This Week?
Tuesday is Spring Picture Day! Students are taking individual photos and if you would like to order these, you must prepay using the order form that I sent home with your student on Friday.
Also, this Friday March 11th is an early release day! We managed to escape another snow day, so the early release is still happening this Friday.
In the classroom, we're moving into a big history unit, as well as delving deeper into fractions and finishing up our reading group books. It should be an exciting week!
What Are We Learning This Week?
- Daily 5: Context clues; informative writing; and, as always, building up stamina to be better readers and writers.
- Reading Groups: Wrapping up our books and starting new ones!
- Social Studies: Asheville history.
- Math: Continuing our unit on fractions!
